With FREE SPIRIT, getting away to some of the most popular places is possible with as few as 15,000 miles. The number of FREE SPIRIT miles
you earn will depend on your status level at the time you fly and the original seat
purchased. FREE SPIRIT miles will not be awarded for BIG FRONT SEAT upgrades. The
FREE SPIRIT miles awarded to your account is based on the actual miles flown for
each segment of your itinerary along with any bonus miles you qualify for based
on your status at the time of travel. If you purchase a ticket for another passenger,
only the person who actually travels on that ticket is eligible to earn the FREE
SPIRIT miles associated with the trip.
Looking how
to redeem your miles?
At the end of the membership year, starting November 1, 2007 and ending October
31, 2008, the top ranking member will be calculated based on all the
miles posted to their account from flown miles, bonus miles, credit card miles,
and partner miles. The member in the number one rank will be designated as the #1
member. The table below outlines the miles that can possibly be earned by the #1
member for the year following their designation as the #1 member in the FREE SPIRIT
program.
