Miramar, Florida (September 2, 2008) - In order to offer customers flexibility, Spirit Airlines has activated its Hurricane Buster Protection policy in response to potential flight changes resulting from Hurricane Hanna.
For customers holding reservations for travel to, from or through affected locations between Monday, September 1, 2008, and Wednesday, September 3, 2008, Spirit Airlines will waive the change fee and difference in fare, provided that customers rebook their travel plans before the date and time of their original reservation, and travel on or before September 15, 2008.
Customers who wish to move their travel beyond September 15, 2008, will not be charged a change fee, however any difference in fare will apply. Customers must call the Spirit Reservations Center at 800-772-7117 (or en Español 800-756-7117) to make their flight changes.
Locations included in the Hurricane Buster Protection policy related to Hurricane Hanna are:

-> Port Au Prince, Haiti

Spirit Airlines’ Hurricane Buster Protection offers customers the ability to make changes to their reservations without a change fee if there is a hurricane watch in effect for their origin or destination airport June 1, 2008, through November 15, 2008.
